A painting is always more special when it is personal!
the scene is dominated by a tree and vegetation in the foreground depicting the glorious fading colours of autumn set against a typical bright autumnal sky. rob has a knack of capturing the colours of the seasons with his palette.
Thanks John! Autumn is my favourite season! I love the colours. The dead bracken is full of colour and texture. The isolated tree seems to me to symbolise strength, being able to stand up to the imminent winter.
