ALSTON HALL, PRESTON.
March – April 2015.
An exhibition held in the beautiful old hall north east of Preston, Lancashire.
Alston Hall is in the Ribble valley. A beautiful old hall was built, I believe, by a family who made their money mining coal. In recent years it has been a college and up until 2016 it was used by Lancashire Adult Learning to provide all sorts of courses based on local history to art courses.
I was asked to teach a course at the Hall. I loved the venue and took the opportunity to hold an exhibition there! The exhibition featured seven limited edition giclee prints and fifteen original pieces.
